1. About these Terms

These Terms govern use of My Little Piggy, including the adult family account, supervised child profiles, child-device pairing, website and related services.

My Little Piggy is operated by legal publisher name, legal status, postal address and country to be confirmed (“My Little Piggy”, “we”, “us” or “our”). You can contact us at hello@mylittlepiggy.com.

By creating an adult account, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not create or use an account.

2. Adult accounts and authority

The family account must be created and controlled by a person who is at least 18 years old or the age of legal majority where they live. The adult must have authority to create and supervise the child profiles connected to the account.

The adult is responsible for keeping account details and credentials secure, deciding what information is entered about each child, supervising children’s use, managing paired devices, and following laws and family responsibilities that apply to their use.

Children do not create independent public accounts and are not asked to accept these Terms.

3. What My Little Piggy provides

My Little Piggy provides family tools for activities, approval requests, stars, rewards, savings goals, virtual Piggy Bank records and supervised child-device access. Features may change as the service develops.

Child profiles

Child profiles are private, supervised parts of the adult’s family account. Adults should use a nickname where appropriate and avoid unnecessary sensitive information in names, activities, notes, rewards or goals. The adult is responsible for ensuring family-entered information is suitable and lawful.

4. Stars, rewards and virtual money

My Little Piggy is not a bank, payment service, electronic-money provider, wallet, investment service or financial adviser. We do not hold, safeguard or transfer money. Stars and virtual balances have no cash value and cannot be redeemed from My Little Piggy.

The adult is responsible for any real-world pocket money, purchase, gift or reward promised to a child. My Little Piggy is not responsible for a family member fulfilling or refusing a reward.

5. Child-device pairing

An adult can create a temporary code or QR code to connect a device to one chosen child profile. The adult controls pairing and can remove access. A child can also disconnect their own paired device. Users must keep credentials and pairing codes secure and should remove access from a lost, shared or compromised device.

Removing a pairing ends that device’s authorised child access. Reconnection requires a new pairing from the adult account.

On a shared adult device, returning from Child mode requires adult authentication. Device biometrics identify an enrolled device user, so adults should only enable this option on a device with appropriately controlled biometric enrolment.

6. Family content

Family content includes activities, notes, goals, rewards and descriptions entered through the service. The user keeps ownership of their content and gives us a limited licence to host, process, display and back it up only as needed to operate and secure the service.

Users must not enter content that is unlawful, abusive, threatening, discriminatory, sexually explicit, exploitative, misleading or harmful, or information they do not have the right to use.

7. Permitted use

We grant the user a limited, personal, household, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use My Little Piggy under these Terms and applicable app-store rules.

Users must not copy, sell, rent or commercially exploit the service; interfere with security or access controls; scrape, automate or overload the service without permission; impersonate another person; gain unauthorised access; or use the service for unlawful or harmful purposes. Reverse engineering is prohibited except where the law expressly permits it.

8. Notices and service availability

Nudges, reminders, sounds and celebrations are convenience features. They may be delayed, unavailable or affected by device settings and network conditions.

We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may maintain, update, suspend or change features when reasonably necessary.

App stores and providers

Apple’s Standard End User Licence Agreement applies to the iOS app unless the store listing later provides a custom licence. Google Play terms may apply to an Android download. Service providers and their data practices are explained in the Privacy Policy.

9. Account deletion, suspension and termination

The adult may permanently delete the family account through Adult Settings. This ends paired-device access and removes associated family data subject to the retention explained in the Privacy Policy. An external request can be started through the Account Deletion page.

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate security issues, comply with law or respond to serious or repeated misuse. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue.

10. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what information is processed, why it is used, providers, retention, deletion and user rights.

11. Intellectual property

My Little Piggy, its software, artwork, characters, logos, text and service materials are owned by or licensed to the legal publisher to be confirmed and are protected by intellectual-property laws.

If a user voluntarily provides feedback, they permit us to use it to improve the service without payment or obligation, while personal information remains protected under the Privacy Policy.

12. Pricing and purchases

The first release is planned to be free to download with no in-app purchases, subscriptions or payment feature. If paid features are introduced later, prices and additional terms will be shown before purchase and these Terms will be updated where required.

13. Consumer rights, warranties and responsibility

Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited, including mandatory consumer rights.

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an “as available” basis. We are not responsible for a family’s decisions about activities, rewards, pocket money or purchases, or losses caused by inaccurate family-entered records.

We do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful, including non-excludable responsibility for fraud, deliberate misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms will be governed by the laws of the publisher’s country or jurisdiction to be confirmed, while preserving mandatory consumer rights and courts available where the user normally lives.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms for service, legal or security changes. We will publish the updated date and provide any notice required by law. Material changes may require renewed acceptance.

16. General terms

If one part of these Terms is unenforceable, the remaining parts continue to apply. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. These Terms, the Privacy Policy and applicable store terms form the agreement concerning My Little Piggy.
