1. Virtual records only
The balance shown in the app is a family-maintained record. No real money enters, leaves or is held by My Little Piggy.
Stars, rewards, savings goals and Piggy Bank balances have no independent cash value. They cannot be paid out, transferred, invested or redeemed through the app.
2. Grown-ups manage the real money
The adult account holder remains responsible for any real pocket money, cash, bank account, purchase, gift or reward discussed with a child. Adults decide whether and when a virtual amount is recorded as saved, spent or withdrawn.
“Withdraw money” records a reduction in the virtual balance; it does not make a bank transfer or pay out cash. Granting a savings goal or approving a reward records the family’s decision. The adult arranges any real purchase or payment separately.
My Little Piggy does not guarantee that a family-entered reward, amount or promise will be fulfilled. Family members are responsible for keeping records accurate and resolving any disagreement about them.
3. Educational tool, not financial advice
My Little Piggy is an organisational and educational family tool. It is not a payment service, electronic-money provider, investment platform, financial adviser, tax adviser or credit service.
Nothing in the app or website is personalised financial, legal, tax or investment advice. Families should seek qualified advice where their circumstances require it.
4. Adult supervision remains important
The app does not replace adult judgement or supervision. Adults are responsible for choosing age-appropriate activities and rewards, managing child-device access, and deciding what information is suitable to enter.
Do not use My Little Piggy to record payment-card numbers, bank credentials, passwords, sensitive health information or other information that is not needed for family activities and goals.
5. Accuracy and availability
Family members enter most records, so the app cannot guarantee that every amount, activity, star or goal is accurate. Sounds, notices, syncing and other features can be delayed by network conditions, device settings, maintenance or service interruptions.
Store badges and device information on the website may change as the release develops. Live download links will be added only after the app is approved and available.
6. Consumer and legal rights
This Disclaimer does not exclude or limit any privacy, consumer or other legal right that cannot lawfully be excluded. It should be read with our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
